Do I need protection against safety losses for my cargo?
We strongly recommend that. KPC offers up to PHP 20,000 worth of Risk Protection for sea freight for free. For shipments of higher value, you can avail it for only PHP 1,000 through the Risk Protection Program with coverage of PHP 500,000.
What is the shipment timeframe?
It generally takes between 20–30 days for Sea Freight under normal conditions. KPC is not liable for cancelled orders of your clients due to delays in shipment caused by unforeseen events, including but not limited to COVID-19, vessel engine problems, delays due to port congestion, shortage of containers, and other related concerns.
We strictly advise avoiding items that are time-bound for special occasions, or planning your shipment at least 60 days in advance for these items, as availing our services means understanding the risks inherent with importation.
What happens if the shipment takes longer than 30 days?
If your shipment is above 30 days from the received date of our China warehouses, please contact our Facebook pages.
What if I received damaged items?
KPC Express is not liable for sensitive or fragile shipments that may get damaged during transportation due to poor packaging, while our China Warehouses reserve the right to decline any shipment assessed as poor packaging.
KPC Express Insurance is only provided for shipments that have been tagged as LOST ITEM, and this insurance does not include DAMAGED GOODS DUE TO POOR PACKAGING.
How to avail the Risk Protection Program?
Pay the ₱1,000 fee to us and send your Pro Forma Invoice within 7 days from the date China received.
Failure to send the Pro Forma Invoice within 7 days from China's received date will result in disqualification from the Risk Protection Program.
Do you offer insurance for imported products?
KPC does not have insurance and will only pay up to ₱20,000 PHP per shipment for lost items.
Importation is not risk-free, and by availing our services, you understand the inherent risk of importation.
